The design of my lamp is called "Emerge." I wanted the design of this lamp to emerge as if it is coming out of the ground or furniture. Inspiration of Zaha Hadid's architecture influenced my design. I experimented with two types of materials, one being a more classy look with wood for the vertical pieces and tinted glass for the horizontal pieces. The other design was more for college level people to be able to put in there dorms. I used a tinted glass for the vertical members with a lime green color for the horizontal members.
