I designed my lamp in a modern style although it is going to be cut out of wood to give it a homelike decoration. The work on rhino consisted on drawing circles and position them in different angles using crv2view. Then using some commands as sweep 2 and join I was able to create the surfaces and make them a solid. The notches were done on grasshopper with the script.

I wanted to create a bigger lamp so it can stand on the floor and be a main decoration in any room. I made it 40 inches tall and 8 inches diameter.
