Christian Edwards Week 10: Camera

Eyeshot was inspired by the iPod's functionality using the scroll wheel to scroll through the pictures on the camera.  This camera is long which will rest in the hands of the user easily and it has a simplistic design.  This camera has large viewing screen to take the pictures with, and a button on top to take the pictures.  The camera also has an adjustable lense.

To build this model in rhino, I 3d modeled different shapes from boxes to torus's, and I used fillet edge and boolean difference.  These different tools really improved the quality of the design.

The materials I used were brass for the exterior, white pad, black shiny plastic, and copper.  This camera looks beautiful and slick.  The materials will draw anybody in who has a sense of style.

Christian Edwards Week 9: chair

Perch was inspired by an idea that public seating would save space by being vertical over horizontal.  I designed a bench that has 2 levels allowing 2 different groups of people to seat: one below and one above.  Anybody and everybody could use this bench for seating in a public place.

The commands I used in Rhino were pipe, duplicate, retate, and fillet edge.  These cammands brought this piece to life.  Without these commands in place, building this model would have been alot more complicated.

The materials I used consisted of cloudy plastic and hard plastic.  I wanted the materials to fit in well with their environment at the beach or in an amusement park.
