John Sibert: Week 1 Castle

For my model I decided to look at temples for reference and was inspired by eastern pagoda designs. The intent of this temple is to float in the ocean undisturbed until a weary traveler happens upon it and takes refuge in it.

I used the polar array tool heavily, as well as the revolve tool to make my cylindrical shapes. For many of the shapes I used I designed them in illustrator first and then exported into rhino in order to achieve a more stylized aesthetic.
