James Ervin Week 6 Ring

I started out just making interesting shapes in rhino. I think I made something that looks very complex and interesting in rhino. But as a design, and when put into keyshot, it was lame.

So I started over. I did research online looking at popular ring styles, and modeled a ring that while simpler,is just a better design.

The holes under the stones allow more light to illuminate the stones.

For the name, I also did research and found out how rings are named. They are typically a combination of a name and discription. So for Nova Three Stone, Nova is the name and Three Stone is the bands description.

The center stone is a 2k diamond, and the side stones are pear cut teal sapphires.
