For this project, I decided to create a fun ring that combines the elements of some of my favorite rings. The hammered silver paired with the 24kt gold is a look I have always enjoyed. I look for rings with organic shapes and intricate swirls, therefore I added the swirl details coming from the focal point of the ring. Turquoise is one of my favorite kinds of stone, and I found that it gave an elegant contrast to the fine metals used for this piece. Overall, I wanted to make a ring that combined some of the fun elements of more cheap rings with the quality of a much finer ring in order to make the perfect ring for my style.
Here is a ghosted shot of my ring in Rhino, showing that there are no naked edges.
This shot shows the layers I used to prepare for rendering my piece in KeyShot.
Here is a KeyShot rendered version of my ring, along with the top, right, and front 2D views of the ring.
This here is a second shot of my KeyShot rendered version of my ring, this time showing a perspective 2D view of the piece.
