My design was inspired by the brand Hermes. My intention was to create an elegant piece of jewelry with a simple design. This ring could be used to mark a special occasion in someone's life. 

To modell my design I created curves that described the outline of the main form. I then used the sweep2 and loft commands to create surfaces between the curves. I made the crystals by using the revolve and mesh tools. 

To render my design I employed the render passes. My material choice was directly influenced by my decition to make the design refined and sophisticated. All the ring is made of gold, and the crystals are diamonds. I manipulated the Gold material to make it fit my taste, making it less specular.
