Theodore Gough: Week 6 Ring

The goal of this design was to be something very clean, and be able to be worn on a daily basis. I wanted to make something I would like to wear. The ring was made using a revolve of a shape, then I used a boolean operation to create the structures that pass through the ring. Materials wise I used wood and black titanium for one set of renderings, and gold and titanium for the others. In the rendering process I focused on creating good contrast and shadows that would show the details of the ring.
