Here is a flashlight I rendered using Keyshot after constructing them in Rhino. I then attempted to put them into Photoshop and make them look presentable.

Ghosted Flashlight 2
After the class lesson on 7/8/2013, I re-evaluated my flashlight and decided to reconstruct a different one with no naked edges and with the proper black on black ghosted views the professor had requested. I really enjoyed making this model with Rhino software because of the free formed curves I got to explore. I also experienced how to fix naked edges. Here I present to you a ghosted model of a LED flashlight ring I designed. It would take a coin battery to operate which slides in the back.

This is the fixed Rhino model complete with fillets that will be 3D printed.
This is the FINAL model with no naked edges and proper fillets.

ReplyDeleteProvide the show edges information on your ghosted image so that I can confirm the integrity of your model. Tune your materials more effectively in keyshot they seem like basic diffuse material and come off very flat.
