Nicole Corlett : Week 7 Sunglasses from 2D

Made these sunglasses thinking everything wouldn't have got weird after I started to play with the bending tool in Rhino.  Started flat, Bent it, mirrored stuff, pretty unhappy about all of the naked edges, but plan to continue to work on this project until I perfect it. I'm sure Scott will be pretty unhappy.

  1. Fix the naked edges by joining the naked edges and extruding the lens so that it has thickness. Don't forget to fillet your edges.

  4. The fillets are so small that they are not showing up in your renderings. Also don't forget to post you drawing, both the isometrics and the orthographics. Your materials seem very flat.

  5. ok. The fillets are .025, or .0025 I believe. I will keep trying to make them larger, I thought that if they were there no matter the size, they would help with removing the flatness issue.
