Since this was our final project I decided to challenge myself and create an interchangeable lens DSLR camera. I created a total of 3 lenses (a wide angle lens, a telephoto lens, and a macro lens each with the same mount which I called a B-mount) which each ended up looking great in the renderings. I used the reflection and occlusion pass to in my last rendering to give it that last push I feel it needed. My Camera is made out of a resistant plastic so you can take pictures anywhere. Each lens is made from and enforced metal so no scratches or dents can occur.

For this project I decided to create some modern heels. I wanted to get away from the ordinary so I created heels with some unorthodox heels. I used a large tube cylinder and with boolean difference I cut the back part of my shoe off. Not wanting to leave such large gap I filled it with a red ball which is a theme in this model. We can also find 3 red balls at the front of the shoe that give these products a distinguished look. I imagined these shoes carved from a single piece of wood to make them resistant and unbreakable. I also wanted to add height to the shoes, in order to accomplish that I lifted them far from the ground so even the shortest wearer will gain a significant amount of inches.

I created this camera design based on my friends camera. The model was created by performing a series of extrusions, trims, blends and projections. I was aiming for a fancy looking camera design, but after opening the file on keyshot I figured out that the best way was to create sort of a vintage camera aspect.

Shreya Mehta Week10 Camera

Since this was my last project for this class I really tried to incorporate everything I learned in the last 10 weeks. I modeled my camera from extruded curves and extruded surfaces and curves. There are blended surfaces, revolved curves, splits and more.
Overall, I am very happy with how my camera came out. I especially am proud of my lens. For my materials I chose a lot of hard plastics a molded plastic for the body. There is a digital display then a glass screen over it. I also have highlights in titanium on such things like the buttons and fillets on the lens.

Briana Mateo: Week 10 Camera

I was inspired this weekend at my little sisters graduation. I wish I could have captured every emotion but the camera I had I couldn't bring with me everywhere I went, so I made everything on this camera small and compact including a nice flash. It is able to record as well.

For this project I focused on using blended surfaces to make smooth transitions. It is inspired by a digital camera I own, that has a great ergonomic form factor. When not on the lens would retract to make an almost flat body. I also added a loop hole where a strap could be added.

Ben Dunkel Final Week - Shoe

I really enjoyed this project because I got to design one of my favorite products; basketball shoes. I ised elements commonly found in such shoes like heel  and mid foot counters, a two part rubber sole, breathable vents, and a high top structure. I spent a lot of time working on the shape of my last but I think the toe is still a little too fat. The hardest part was making laces, which i never really achieved believably, so I left them out.

Water shoes

Water shoes!! remembering the good old days.  I created these water shoes in rhino by making sweep twos, pipes and rebuilding surfaces.  I had most fun making the sole of the water shoes, just because it was a good way to play with the points of the curves.

I used plastic/rubber for the sole of the water shoe, and stretched fabric for the shoe.  What the water shoes are made of.  As you can see, the shoes are four by four  terrain.  I chose these colours because it is a shoe for children, and they are attracted to nice colorful shoes.
