Daniela Vollmer -Assignment 3: Hammer and mouse

This is my ghosted toy hammer in Rhino, I used several layers in order to have more flexibility with the choice of colors and materials of my hammer.

My Keyshot rendered hammer is foreshortened in order to stress the form and colors of the handle. I used bright colors and a metallic paint to resemble a real hammer while keeping in mind its function for children.

Since we were going for the whole toy hammer concept, I decided to design my mouse along the same lines, with a lot of color and organic forms. This is the Rhino ghosted version.

This is the Keyshot rendered version.

  1. Daniela, the handle on your hammer is beautiful. The rendering on top is in wireframe mode, be sure to change your view port renderer to ghosted mode to ghosted so that I can also see your surfaces. Bring the image in real tight so the viewer can appreciate all of your good modeling techniques. I like your choice of materials in Keyshot, they are in line with your statement of intent.
