Making this model in 3D was a challenge. I took the sweep 2 commando to another level. The fillets of this object are very small and I thought that was going to be a problem. This design is very symmetrical, if you cut the ring in four equal parts you can get on with the design perfect.
The materials used in this rendered is stainless steel for all of the ring, and white reflection glass for the diamond. The challenging part of the rendering part is getting two different perspective that tell two different stories, since the design is very symmetrical, I think got a good solution for that specific problem. Doing the passes part I was very confused, and tried to managed it. I still need to practice this rendered part.
