Janae' Javis: Embrasse-Moi Necklace 3D Print

This is the photo of my 3D printed model.  Since it was so small and the good 3D printer was down, it succumbed to a little error at the top. Overall a good result, I will most likely reprint when the broken printer is fixed.

Janae' Javis: Vaquita Chaise

A vaquita is a rare porpoise. This design is inspired by their shape and the underwater ripple effect.  The purpose is to not only design a tubular chair influenced by Greek and Victorian furniture, but also to raise awareness about the endangered species, you can learn more about them from the World Wildlife Fund.

Janae' Javis: Gravitron Lamp

Lamp before Grasshopper

I don't think I was able to get the light to emit the way I wanted, very subtle emmission.
Lamp in use with light suspended
Lamp with light off

Design is loosely based on the Gravitron (now called Starship) fair ride. I originally wanted a more complex shape, but Grasshopper wouldn't accept it. All of the t-sections weren't oriented properly, but I was still able to build a structurally sound lamp. I opted to suspend the candelabra light and exclude the bottom n-section so it can stand while in use without balancing on the cord. I'm still experimenting with how I want the light suspended/oriented as you can see from the two images above.

Janae' Javis: Embrasse-Moi Necklace and Imperial Swan Ring

I initially designed a ring, but it had too many naked edges so I changed the design and completed an ammolite necklace.

This is a render of the ring I designed but had to drop due to the amount of naked edges on the design.

Janae' Javis: USB

Keyshot Render

In an effort to be as realistic as possible, I looked up material specs for the USB 2.0 system, and rendered the design with those.  I learned a lot from this tutorial and plan to use the techniques elsewhere.

I got behind in my classes due to personal reasons, so my design is not as elaborate as my other projects . I do like how the top turned out.
