These are the pair of sunglasses that I designed based on a pair of sunglasses that I own. I previously owned a pair of sunglasses with a similar design that were also made out of clear plastic. So, I decided here to make a combination of my two favorite pairs of sunglasses.
Here are the drawings that I started with in order to make my model.
First, here is a ghosted image of my pair of sunglasses created in Rhino.
Next are some photographs of other ghosted images of my sunglasses,
along with the sketches used to create them. I had a lot of trouble putting them all into one perspective, they all wanted to stay in one plane - so I demonstrated how I used each drawing via three separate screenshots.
Here is an image of my sunglasses with the assignments to the pieces, so that it is ready for KeyShot.
Here is a rendered version of my sunglasses. I chose to use clear plastic for the frame of my sunglasses because I thought it was sort of unique. I chose a dark glass material for the lenses.
This is another photo of my rendered sunglasses, this time seen from the front.
