The USB I made this week was done using a rhino tutorial. Therefore, I wasn't inspired by anything aside from my want to learn Rhino better. From the tutorial I learned how to offset pretty well and i also worked more on projecting curves to surfaces and object. I really got better at filleting edges but I still need to learn when and at what angle things can be filleted.
When choosing materials for my USB I used a titanium for the head. The little contact strips inside the head of the USB I chose a rough titanium to keep unity while differentiating the parts. Foe the body of the USB I used a hard mate plastic so it will be durable. I also made the USB emblem Titanium to unify the head and the body of the USB.
