While I did not make any major structural changes to the USB drive, I chose to personalize it with my name. This concept allows for lost flash drives (a common issue, especially in college) to be easily found and returned to their correct owners.  I used a hard, durable plastic for the outside to make the drive more durable and colorful.  I learned a lot from offsetting the surfaces to create the dips in the sides.
