I followed the tutorial to create this USB. I leaned how to use bit maps to turn an image into a 3D object.

Bamidele Elegbede: Week 8 Tubular Chair
Pole Seat
The Pole Seat concept is a solar powered light pole with a seat on it. The excess energy is stored in the pole allowing users to charge their portable electronic devices with the USB ports underneath the seat. Most of all the Pole seat helps bring people together and create new connections.

Bamidele Elegbede: Week 7 Lamp
REMI Side Table/Lamp
I designed REMI to serve the purpose of a side table and a lamp. I see REMI being used often as a bedside table. REMI allows a bedside table to be smaller and less cluttered now that a lamp don't have to be on top. I paid special attention to the structure of REMI since it would have load applied onto it. This is why I rotated the vertical sections and also reversed the notch placement of the last horizontal section. The rotation creates torsion within the structure allowing it to be a lot more stable and the reversed section on the bottom holds the structure from separating. This makes REMI structurally stable, lightweight yet aesthetically pleasing.
To model REMI I first drew the shape and revolved it into a solid. I then created the sections and used pipes to create the waffles.

Bamidele Elegbede : Week 6 Ring
Chanic Brakes
Edge Analysis
Materials Organization
Render
The Chanic Brake ring is inspired by car brakes. This ring is part of a series of rings i'll be calling The Chanic Collection, which are inspired by automobiles. The name Chanic comes of the word Mechanic (tradesman, craftsman, or technician who uses tools to build or repair machinery).
I modeled this ring by first creating the side plates with extrude curve. I then created one set of dots on the surface and used polar array to revolve the pattern. For the top of the ring I created a rectangle, then extruded the curves and used a chamfer, fillets and Boolean different to get to the final result. I chose to use anodized aluminium, steel and gold for the final material application to give the ring an elegant finish.

Bamidele Elegbede : Week 5 Eyewear Design
GLASS PRO
Ghosted View
KeyShot material application Layers.
Final KeyShot Render
The GLASS PRO concept is a wireless viewfinder for your camera and other compatible devices. The concept was initially designed for photographers but could be adopted by many other professions and hobbyist.
I modeled the headrest first using 2 rail sweep then filleted the edges. Then the headphone/mount. After that I modeled the eye patch by creating a spear and projected a curve onto it. The projected curve was then lofted to a circle. The circle was then extruded to create a base for the viewfinders arm. The arm was first sketched on a flat plane using a interpolate curve and then rotated to its correct position. The curve then got duplicated and I did a 2 rail sweep. I used project, extrude and boolean difference to make curves on the surface of the headrest and viewfinder arm. Finally the pad was made from a rebuilt sphere.
I choose this form for Glass Pro because it looked simple, modern and could be easily customized to fit perfectly.
