Updated Renders: Added a subtle fillet, altered lighting, and screen

This cell phone concept is inspired by Naum Gabo's scultpure and of course Valentine's day.  While it appears to be a standard cell phone design, it takes into consideration a small amount of engineering. The concept for the screen is to use a matted lcd screen in order to reduce glare during outdoor use.  The three circles on the side are actually vents. In an effort to save battery life, the phone will use a light sensor so that the backlight will automatically adjust depending on the lighting situation. The phone will have a temperature sensor to monitor the battery, and the vents will activate in order to cool down the battery.  It also has an embedded stand.

Janae' Javis Assignment 5: The Elegant Mouse

 Ghosted View

Keyshot Render 1

Keyshot Render 2

For this design, I wanted something make a mouse that can be used in an office setting. So I aimed to make it more refined than the standard white, black, or see-through plastic mouses that dominate the market. In reality, it can be styled either way.

Janae' Javis Assignment 4: The Schlygel (Hammer)

Keyshot Render

The inspiration for the Schlygel hammer is two fold. One part was looking up hammer styles at Home Depot. As a result of the research, I added the grip grooves.  The coloring and name is inspired by Germany, the flag and language. This is due to their standards of quality in design and engineering. Also because I was born there (not raised there though).

Janae' Javis Week 2 Duckie USB

Rhino render from class.
Ghosted View of the Duckie USB. Original design concept. The little ring at the top is for attaching it to a keychain.
Screenshot of basic Keyshot render. I decided to change the color.

The Duckie USB in context.

Janae' Javis Week 2 Flashlight

Flashlight assignment. Original concept. The white side material was supposed to contour along the outside of the flashlight, but the effect enhanced the final product renders by making it more interesting so I kept it.
Keyshot render.
