Tevin Moore - Week 2: Duck

Duck Ghosted with Layers

 Duck Rendered Keyshot 1

 Duck Rendered Keyshot 2

My inspiration for this design came from my stepfather who is a hunter. I wanted to give this design a nature aspect with the smooth wood texture to the blowpipes and the duck's body. I used the copy tool for the torus shape for the tube rings so that the person can grip the duck call. I actually had two favorite tools for this model. I loved using the tubes and the polyline to draw out the wings on the sides of the duck. The materials of the duck are brown wood for the blowpipes, brown paint for the wings, yellow wood for the body, brownish-tan paint for the neck, reddish brown paint for the head, and white and black paint for the eyes.

  1. increase the size of your subject in your renderings. Also check naked edges in the find edges dialogue so that the illustration reflects the true nature of your model. You do great work. people should be able to see it.
