Mackinley Farmer: Week 2 Flashlight

 For the flashlight assignment I wanted to create an elegant flashlight that you wouldn't necessarily have to tuck away in a drawer. I definitely used the Arraypolar Command the most to create the accents around the body of the flashlight, as well as the Boolean Difference Command to remove pieces. For the materials I used metals and carbon fiber to give it a durable, yet elegant appearance. The wood adds an earthy contrast.

After the flashlight was 3D printed I decided to remove the two back tubes to make it easier to hold. I realize this differs from the original design but I feel the need for this product to function properly prevails over the importance of the original design.
