For the mouse project I really wanted to make something that I would want to use. That meant that it had to be sleek, ergonomic, and of course, have at least two buttons and a track ball. The brushd metal finish of the body would be comfortable and cool to the touch but also strong. One problem I have with a lot of the mice I've used is the relative flatness of the area where your palm rests. To remedy this I created an elevated area that lifts the palm and wrist to alleviate the pains associated with prolonged mouse use. This eliminates the need for a mouse pad with a wrist bumper.
