I wanted a logo to be the main focal point of my mouse. Thus the dragon idea came to me. I simply used the command backgroundbitmap to import an image, traced the image with CP lines, projected the line onto the mouse, split from the body, and extracted downward. The idea for the ball placement came to me from the fact that when users have their hands on the mouse their index finger is at a different placement than the wheel, so I simply moved it for easier usage. Also the wheel acts as a single button, similar to Apple. The materials are different species of wood. I used these to give a very organic, sleek, retro look.
