Wonderfully creative design! Add a ground plane that is about 3 times the size of your objects and that boat will be floating on water. Good Job.
If the object is meant to be floating. add the ground plane so that the boat casts a shadow that indicates that it is floating. In any event this is a nice creative solution to the problem
