When designing this lamp, I was being inspired by simple, organic forms, such as honeycomb and pine cone. I always like their patterning and wanted to achieve something similar with my lamp design. I purposely made my lamp dense in order to conceal the presence of the light bulb inside. My goal is to find a non-flammable material that could go inside and cover the inner walls of the lamp.

Vitaliy Pankov: Week 2 Duck Stroller-Shopping Cart
My duck tutorial has evolved into a stroller with attachable shopping basket which turns it into a shopping cart. There are two handlebars located on the sides of the duck's head which a child can hold. Duck's feet is where a child can put his or her feet on while sitting on the ducky. Headrest is attached to the bar on the back and provides extra support and cushion for a child's head and neck.

Vitaliy Pankov: Week 2 Flashlight
My flashlight has industrial look and is made out of lightweight, yet durable materials. When working on this project, I mostly revolved shapes constructed with curves and also used solids such as cylinders. For the texture I used Boolean function. Final renderings are done in Keyshot. I played with different materials and colors and chose to show the ones with which I am happy the most.

Daniela Vollmer - Assignment 8: Chair

| This is my Rhino ghosted view. |
This is my first Keyshot rendering with the isometric logo and the three orthographic projections of my chair. Its name makes reference to its tubular aluminum structure which is made of a single bent piece. The seat is made of a white leather material I created in Keyshot.
This is my second Keyshot rendering with the isometric logo and projection of the chair.

Daniela Vollmer: Assignment 7 - Lamp
Rhino ghosted version of my lamp model.
First Keyshot rendered view of my lamp model with pieces in laser cutting format.
Second Keyshot rendered view of my lamp model with orthographic and isometric views. The name of my design means "Sun Lamp" in Spanish. The design's rounded form references its name, and its organic shape is inspired in Chinese paper lanterns,

Daniela Vollmer: Assignment 6 - Ring model
This is the first view of the final Keyshot render with orthographic views. I decided to use industrial materials on my models (steel and tire) and tried to make them work together in a good design. I think they came together pretty well with the turquoise (quite a strange combination that I decided to use to challenge myself, but I am happy with the results). The name is inspired on the Greek prophetic sea god Glaucus, who is said to have rescued sailors and fishermen from storms, given he used to be one himself.
