To create the Rhino model I split a circle in two halves and adjusted the top end to the shape the have now. Then I used a Sweep1 with variable cross sections, extruded the tip on the top along a curve and blended them. Finally I mirrored the half ring twice to get the shape it has now and cut out the parts at the bottom, using the FlowAlongSurface command.
The rendering in KeyShot was made by creating multiple render passes ( Beauty, Occlusion, Reflection, Specular) that were adjusted to the final rendering in Photoshop later.
