These are my LeightWeight sunglasses. When I designed them, my intention was to create very light and smooth frameless sunglasses. They have a sporty look but are still elegant enough to wear them for every occasion. These are meant to be the perfect sunglasses for everyone who looks for a contrast to the heavy, bold plastic sunglasses that are in vogue right now. The earpieces are made out of fiberglass on the outside and have a thin carbon fiber inlay. That makes the earpieces very light and flexible at the same time so that they don't have to be jointed. The connecting pieces to the glasses have small kinks to enable easy bending of the earpieces. At the end of the earpieces there are soft pads that give a comfortable feeling at the ears. The connecting pieces to the glass and the nose bridge are made of durable metals.
To create this model I used the PictureFrame tool to model them from my drawings. I sweeped or lofted most of my curves to create the surfaces and solids, those were my favorite commands for this project.
