For this design, I took inspiration from Oakley's Holbrook sunglasses. I wanted to come up with something that was durable, lightweight and affordable. I intended for these sunglasses to be used by people that practice water sports, that's why I called them waterframes and gave them blue lenses.
For modeling, the main command I used was sweep 2. I also used boolean 2 objects. I modeled the half right part of the sunglasses and them mirror it to get the other half. I did this to unsure it had perfect symmetry.
Regarding materials, the frames are made out of rough hard plastic fr a matte-like texture. For durability, the lenses are made out of plastic as well; this also makes them less expensive than if they were glass lenses.
