Tevin Moore - Week 3: Hammer

Hammer Ghosted with Layers, Edges, and Command Bar
 Hammer Keyshot 1
 Hammer Keyshot 2

I was deeply influenced by the tall tale of John Henry. It was my favorite tall tale about a man who beat a machine at building a railroad and tunneling through a mountain, but sadly died after beating it. I created this model as a tribute to that tale. I used the Torus tool for the grips, and Boolean difference tool for the lights, and I used the Fillet Edges command for the top of the hammer and for the grip at the bottom. The materials I made this hammer out of include: cast iron, mold tech, green refractive glass, rubber, rough metal. My favorite modeling technique for this was creating the lights, I love lighting up my models .
