For the design of my sunglasses, I created the "Love Bugs," which are heart shaped and targeted towards teenage girls. Inspired by basic heart shaped sunglasses, I wanted to create a design of my own based on the look. When Modeling in Rhino, I used the Picture Frame command to bring my Orthographic Drawings onto the scene to be able to model from them This helped me create the majority of the surfaces and solids with the Offset Surface command. The Boolean difference and Boolean union commands were used to join the pieces of the sunglasses together. In Keyshot, I modeled the glasses using hard plastic for the body, clear plastic for the lens, and steel for the hinge joint. I chose red for the sunglasses body to mimic the basic color of a cartoon heart, but I also added the white, blue, and black embellishments on the sides to create a more classy design. When adjusting the lighting for my sunglasses, I turned down the brightness just a tad but pumped up the contrast to get a definitive ground shadow for my glasses design.
