These are my OPTI glasses, they are made for comfort and focus when running, biking, working out ect. Personally I like headphones that wrap around my ears and that causes a problem when wearing sunglasses and being active. With this design ears are not needed and the bands work with some tension to keep on your head. The side panels are a lighter tint of glass than the front lens so you still have peripheral vision when being active and they keep dust from sliding in on the side.
