For my sunglasses design I drew inspiration from Aviator sunglasses, Locs sunglasses, and Gargoyle sunglasses. I wanted to create a sense of sturdiness in the glasses along with a sense of high tech futuristic style. For my modeling techniques I used the Polyline tool, the Control Point Curve tool, the Extrude Curve tool, Boolean Difference tool, Boolean 2 Objects tool, and the Fillet Edges tool. For my material I used: Black Dense Glass for the lens, Black Chrome for the Lens frames and 24k Gold for the Hinges, and Platinum for the Buttons on the sides. My favorite modeling technique for this model was the Boolean Difference tool, it was cool making the buttons and filleting the edges of them.
