I chose this flashlight design because I wanted my flashlight to have other functions besides just to see in the dark with.  The points on the back where placed there for breaking glass/windows and for self defense, that is why I chose to make the points out of a metal, for a stronger harder striking point. I designed this flashlight as a self-defense weapon.
