Daniela Moran- Week 8: Double Helix Chair

For my chair I created a simple but visually interesting design that could be used in different environments according to the materials and colors used. When modeling my chair in Rhino, I used the curve and pipe tool the most. To make it double I simply copied and rotated it, for the hole at the top, in between the two, I used control point to manipulate my curve and make it the way I wanted. In KeyShot I used wood, stainless steel, and clear plastic for the first model, only changing the color of the pipe detail; for the second model I made the pipes in stainless steel and leather; last but not the least, the third model is made of clear plastic and stainless steal.
