Isabella Pineda: Week 10 Camera

for this project i decided to make the Leica camera M9. I like the classic vintage design and i find the center made out of leather very appealing. In rhino I modeled with the revolve tool mostly to create the complex parts. i also used the project curve command a lot to make the glass parts on the camera. To attach the lens to the camera i used the split and blend tool. in rhino i chose polished steel for the body of the camera and perforated leather for the center part. i used the text tool to add the details.

  1. A couple fine tunes to your rendering. give your lens thickness and play with the index of refraction. Adjust the size of your dimension arrows and text to make it proportional to your model elements. Finally consider using passes to really give your good work that extra punch!!
