Will Allen: Week 10 Shoes

My shoes design was pretty experimental but I used mid top skate shoes for reference and a pair of shoes that I own in order to get some basic shapes down. I used the tutorials to generate the basic shape of my shoe and then used curves to make surfaces that I then offset to make solid. I chose to make the shoe out of leather. The front black part of the shoe is perforated leather and the back section is regular grey leather. I also used white leather for the trim piping that would hold the sections together. I used aluminum for the holes that are for laces, although laces would be optional because the tongue of the shoe is fixed to the side so a lace would not be needed. For the sole of the shoe I use regular rubber for comfort and grip.
