Eris Muller: Week 8 Sipra Chair Take 2

After my first design of the chair was unsuccessful in demonstrating the piping feature I changed the design so it would meet the requirements while still keeping the idea of the first design relevant. The main body of the chair consists of mostly of pipes following the contour of the side. The sides are made up of extrusions of a line drawn shape. There are small torus boolean differences at the ends of the legs. I incorporated the name of the chair into the sides.
I used metal for the pipes and clear blue rough plastic, then for the next shot with the blue and red i combined the first materials with a deep red color.
The techniques that were implemented in my design were mostly planar curves, piping of course, filleting, boolean union and copying the pipes. I copied the shape of the first chair into this design.
