Marc Fleischmann: Week 10 3D Scanning

We started our 3D scanning project with a stick mount hook, it has a nice, smooth surface, barely hidden edges and it is white. It was interesting to get to know the workflow of 3D scanning, it also helps a lot to see how a computer creates the meshes to display a 3D object.
Finally I decided to abstract my model, I used the hook as a handle for a curling stone, it fits pretty well for that purpose. I also added a nicer grip at the end of the hook by offsetting the surface and using booleans to create its final shape.
