Jay Jones: Week 3 Hammer

I can't explain this, it happened while I tried to fillet it. My filleting was successful but this residue was left behind, and it shows up in KeyShot.

The intent of design for this product was a multi-functional tool, normally for hiking, gardening, hunting, and other outdoor use. Its called TuffStuff and the tool is a Tomahawk and Hammer. It also has a toothed curve for pulling down branches and gripping terrain. I used Chamfered Edges and Filleted Edges, as well as Wirecut and Boolean Difference. The materials used were Titanium for most of the blades because its 45% lighter than steel and stronger. I also used Stainless Steel light brushed and regular steel. The red and gray grips or handles were made of perforated leather. The Shiny one made of Polished Red Oak and the Orange made of plain Leather. The last rendering version is the variety of custom TuffStuff Hammers you can get. I wanted the customer to have full control of the product from the types of handles used to the types of blades you can buy.
