Marc Fleischmann: Week 3 Mouse

As I have very small hands I've been looking for a very long time for a mouse that fits to me. Most mouses are too large for my hands, especially too long. So my intention was to develop a design for a short but still full size mouse (not a small portable mouse) with good ergonomic characteristics. To achieve this I made my mouse on the left side a little wider to support the thumb. A material I chose different kinds of plastics, that gives the mouse a light weight and makes it easy to produce. The sides and buttons are designed in a rough plastic to improve the grip.
For this project I used a lot the Loft command, this helped me to design more complicated surfaces that I can adjust easily. To connect the surfaces I mostly used the Blend command.
