For my mouse I decided to go with a very minimal and sleek approach over anything else. When deciding what to create I knew I wanted to make something more modern and something that you don't see everyday in a computer mouse. I wanted to create a mouse that is able to bend and stretch as the user needs. The design is very simple with few raised surfaces to keep it very smooth and easy grip.

When designing my mouse I used many different techniques to help me create my design. I used the sweep2 tool to create my largest shape and to give the piece an overall body to work around. When creating the indention in the middle I used an extrude shape I created with poly lines then used  Boolean Difference to create the shape out of the swept form. For the Buttons I simply used spheres and for the scroll tool I created the form by using one large cylinder then using Boolean Difference to create the gear like shape. The cord at the end is formed using the Piping tool.

For my materials I chose a Mahogany wood finish to give it a much nicer and more expensive appearance. For the gears and buttons I used a thin metallic metal paint to just cover the surface so that the mouse wouldn't be any heavier. Finally for the cord I used a light bendable plastic just as a regular cord would have.
