The Black Cult T-9 by Extreme Optics was designed from inspiration from Google's new high tech glasses that you are able to speak for commands such as text, video, and phone calls. I loved the idea and decided to take it and switch it up a bit to throw into my concept. My product gears towards extreme sports athletes in this modern day world who want to push their sports bigger and better every time. With the Black Cult T-9, you are capable to change settings based upon what activity you are doing such as base jumping, motocross, kite boarding, hiking, wing suite, ect. It is capable of telling you anything from speed (mph/kph), alltitude, air pressure, ect. It is the perfect concept for people who want to take their sport to the max.

For the Black Cult T-9 I used a curve for both the sides and front and created my curve of the shape to project onto, which took me forever. For this I used the Crv2view command. I then extruded my lenses and main frame at different depths to give it separation and gave it glass renderings to show the glass portion. On the side are the wiring and power supply which was made with extruded cylinders and boxes which were placed beyond the point and trimmed to curve it perfectly to the sides. The Material is mainly matte black plastic with tinted glass and red glass for the view screens.

I had a lot of fun with this project even though it was very frusterating getting the Crv2View to work for me. After that, I went firing and designed it perfectly the way I wanted it with no naked edges and all of the mechanic I wanted inside of it. I hope to actually look into seeing if this is possible to make and pitching it to a glasses company in the near future.
