Ka Wing Leung_week3_mouse

I studied some hand gesture of people holding mouse. We used the index finger mostly and there is a gap between the index finger and the thumb. I found it looks like a crab claw so my mouse design was inspired by the blue crab.  I made three layers for the mouse body to represent the body layers of a blue crab.
I started my design from curves. I used a lot of loft, sweep2 and Blend to connect my curves. In order to make a smooth edges, I used fillet edge and fillet surface (the body of mouse). I found Boolean split very useful this time, I could create a closed form very easily.
For materials, I picked Aluminum polished for the left and right button as well as the back of my mouse. I used Amazon Moss_743282, Aluminum polished #1 and Glass basic blue #1 for my mouse body. I used Paint - metallic deep crimson pipe for the detail and Shiny cloudy plastic – blue for the roller ball because it represents the eyes of blue crab.

  1. the command line readout confirming the lack of naked edges is absent from your ghosted image. get that in. I would hate to see this great work suffer because of that.
