Shannon Donnelly Week Three: Mouse

My mouse design is simplistic and modern. I wanted to create a basic design that would resemble a mouse, but in a new way. I didn't want the design to look too ridiculous because I wanted the styling to be more universal.
I used the rotate and mirror tools to keep symmetry throughout the design, and to help lay out details on the surface. I used boolean differance tool to cut out curves to make the mouse fit better in your hand, and to shape to trackball. I filleted all of my edges to make the form more organic and finished.
The materials I used were very basic. I used a brushed nickle for the trackball and a somewhat matte black metal for the main form of the mouse. I used an orange paint to add accent details and finished by using glass detailing on the back.
