Claire Puginier: Week 3: Mouse

My mouse design was driven primarily by the idea of increased personal comfort. The top buttons are elevated and made of soft touch, malleable material that will allow the buttons to form (much like memory foam) to the user's fingers. This improves the usability for both right and left-handed consumers. Additionally there is a pad made of the same material embedded at the base of the mouse for the palm. The body is made of glass for a smooth finish and easy cleaning. The buttons on the side of the mouse can be used with the thumb for right-handed users and with ring-finger for left-handed users. The front button, after being pressed once, activates as a scroller. The back button is less accessible and minimizes the currently active window.
