The Wine Eraser Parker Williams: Week 4

By Parker Williams

For this project, I chose to take a standard box wine concept and turn it into a unique pun making it a laundry detergent bottle instead. This detergent focuses primarily on wine spills and is sold in most grocery stores. The box is a one time purchase as to the bottle, you buy the bottle as a refill to top off your "We" box for new messes. I went with all matte color design including matte black and matte red, keeping it very contemporary and simple. The logo is very simple and unique, because "we" all need "We".
I created the interesting wine bottle cut out shape within each object using lines and curves to create the shapes of the glasses, then extruding them to later then boolean difference the two to give me the depth effect I got. I went all the way through on the last "smallest bottle", to create a solid cut out of the bottle. The thread on the cap and top of the bottle are meant to fit perfectly together by means of me using then helix and then piping it. I then trimmed it to fit snug on the bottle and the inside of the cap.
The lever in between the booleaned handle is used to squeeze for the perfect amount of fluid to top of from the top of your box. Over all, I am very happy with the way this project turned out. The lighting was hard to play with on this one, but I managed to pull it out.
