Billy Nisbet: Week 3 Mouse

My Inspiration for this design was a dynamic silhouette. I wanted to incorporate ergonomic design solutions in a clean package. The mouse also has a raised roller wheel for improved lateral scrolling.

I used sweep for the main body. To create the side cutouts I used a cone to boolean difference. I projected the sketch from the top plane to create a surface to extrude for the top pads. To soften edges, i used the filletedge.

The materials chosen were a matte white plastic, a matte dark grey for the base, and a rubberized top surface for the fingers. The roller wheel is a matte aluminum. The color scheme is meant to complement mac components.
