Lily Karatzas: Week 3 Duck.

My design intent was to create a fun, playful soap dish shaped like a duck. The pattern on my duck was loosely influenced by previous student work. I wanted to create a soap dish that was functional along with being entertaining and toy-like. In my design I frequently used the trim tool and the pipe tool. In Keyshot I chose shiny plastics for the exterior of my model and a polished metal for the interior of the soap dish for functionality. I used a slighter darker lighting than the normal settings for Keyshot to contrast the model in the most flattering way.
