Eris Muller: Week 3 Mouse
I used lighting for the inside which is contained in the elliptical sphere, the middle area is black plastic, the scroll is made of glass, the sides are aluminum and the red is ruby. I carved out the inside because I found a mouse online which inspired me to do the same. I choose the ruby to be reflected by the light and give off a red glow throughout the piece. My inspiration for that material choice was from the mouse we use in class. I used project and split most of the time and boolean difference and sweep 2 for the body. I decided to make the background vignetted and darker than normal to imitate the darkness of the mouse.

Please include a link to your inspiration mouse. This is a nice design but a couple tweaks are required. You need to fillet the edge around the opening so that the form is not lost in the renderings. Also how does the scroll wheel work? It seems to be just floating in the housing.
