Eris Muller: Week 5 Detergent Bottle

This detergent bottle is called Pure, as it is made of all natural materials. I choose the green as a representation of green leaves and the orange as a personal preference. The leaf cut outs are made of clear plastic, the Iguana Run color and the orange is matte scarlet paint. The stark white background choice is also the same idea as the usb, I wanted it to be as high contrast as possible to make the detergent bottle pop.

Eris Muller: Week 3 Mouse

I used lighting for the inside which is contained in the elliptical sphere, the middle area is black plastic, the scroll is made of glass, the sides are aluminum and the red is ruby. I carved out the inside because I found a mouse online which inspired me to do the same. I choose the ruby to be reflected by the light and give off a red glow throughout the piece. My inspiration for that material choice was from the mouse we use in class. I used project and split most of the time and boolean difference and sweep 2 for the body. I decided to make the background vignetted and darker than normal to imitate the darkness of the mouse.

ErisMuller: Week 3 Hammer

My inspiration came from medieval war hammers. After looking up numerous images of war hammers I developed the appropriate shapes and materials for mine. The symbol on the head is derived from Celtic influences. The modeling technique that I used for this project were chamfer edge, rectangular array, altering the pyramid shape, sweep2,boolean difference, The materials I used were leather for the handle, aluminum for the spikes, galvanized metal for the shaft and head. The symbol is gold along with the ribbed details on the shaft, and the small bolts

Eris Muller: Week 2 Ciya

3D printed with yellow and black paint
Flashlight with light turned on

Since I have a flashlight key chain, it influenced me to design one that was both aesthetically pleasing and had a nice feel to the handle. I imagined what the light might feel like in ones hand and applied it. I learned quite a lot from the first project, for example the rotating 3D and 2D helped me accomplish the metal chain at the end which effectively portrays the effect of gravity on it. I used the tempting turquoise material for the green of the body, aluminum for the details, and xray medical for the label of the key chain with my name on it. I saw past key chains with a sort of semi-see through colored plastic and decided to use it. Finally I choose the wooden table background
to show the professionalism of my design.
